Diabetes Management Program
HNE's Diabetes Management Program helps you and your doctor manage your diabetes. As part of this program, we'll send you useful information in the mail to help you understand and manage your diabetes. We'll also send you a reminder each year to help you remember to set up an annual eye exam and regular office visits with your doctor.
You also can sign up for HNE's Diabetes Education and Meal Planning Workshops
Both a Nurse/Diabetes Educator and a Dietician/Nutritionist teach this workshop for HNE members who have been diagnosed with diabetes. You'll learn about:
- Daily diabetes management
- Preventing complications such as high and low blood sugar
- Important tests for people with diabetes.
- Making better food choices, and still enjoying your meal plan.
